Botox

How does it work?

Botox works by reducing the muscle contraction under the skin thereby softening the wrinkles.

Botox is a neuro toxin that blocks the nerve signal to muscles and causing temporary muscle weakness;

With age there is loss of laxity as well as the tissue underneath.
So  muscles contracting underneath the skin  results in forehead lines, frown lines and crow's feet.

Wrinkles are  caused by repeated movements and muscle contractions.
